Allan Kelly

Allan has over 16 years experience in the IT industry, first as a developer and later as a manager, including two years in Silicon Valley. Most of this time has been spent with independent software vendors whose very survival depends on their ability to ship software.

He is a regular conference speaker and contributor to publications on the subject of Agile development and improving software development. His book, “Changing Software Development: Learning to be Agile” was published by John Wiley & Sons in 2008.

Allan is both a trained product manager and project manager – holding PRINCE2 Practitioner status. He holds a BSc in Computing and a Financial MBA from Nottingham University Business School.

A long standing member of the ACCU, Hillside Europe patterns group and Conference Chair of the 2008 European patterns conference, EuroPLoP. For more information see www.allankelly.net.

Giovanni Asproni

Giovanni has 15 years of experience in the IT industry in which he worked in various roles--programmer, architect, team leader, trainer, and mentor--and in several domains including CASE tools, telecom, bio-informatics, and, more recently, banking.

He is a regular conference speaker, and a member of the committee of the London XPDay conference and the conference chair of the ACCU conference.

Giovanni is an expert in agile development, and a Certified Scrum Master. He holds a "Laurea" (MSc equivalent) degree in Computer Science from the University of Pisa, Italy.
